Ways we support each other

Jen's Cancer Journey

Cancer-free and back at it!

PRO K-9 owner Jen was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in February 2022, and spent a year working with an incredible team of doctors as she battled through chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Now in remission, Jen's back to training and working on our new endeavor. We couldn't have made it through without the support of so many amazing people who voluneteered their time and donated to our GoFundMe. We are truly grateful and blessed to be surrounded by our dog-loving community.

Rescue Community

Training Support

Our roots are in rescue, and we have a houseful of our own! We offer deeply discounted rates for dogs within the legal care (pre-adoption) of local registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organizations for training, evaluations, home introductions and foster home education.

We also add a bonus 'Adoption Session' to our in-home programs to help transition adopted dogs to their forever homes, and are currently working on details to offer membership and even more support through the PRO K-9 Pack.

Donations

We actively collect new and used supplies to donate to The Buster Foundation and other rescues and shelters. Monetary donations should be made directly to the organization.

  • Crates & pet gates
  • Food & treats
  • Collars & leashes
  • Toys & bones
  • Beds & blankets
  • Plastic bags for poop pickup
  • Flea & Tick OTC preventatives
  • and more

Volunteering

We work closely with The Buster Foundation, a local non-profit rescue focused on pit bull type, mastiff and bully breed dogs. We offer our services, volunteer and foster as much as possible. You can help support their mission by donating, fostering, volunteering, adopting and more.

We also reward our Pack Members for their generosity with one credit per hour spent volunteering their time with them.
